To tell the truth, I love obscure holidays and this one happens to offer a wonderful teachable moment. Today is National Pay A Compliment Day and I’d like to break down why you should still compliment someone even if they haven’t actually earned it.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve seen about 90 different variations of this quote on social media and might feel like it has nearly lost all meaning. But, it is 1000% true and paying compliments can really brighten someone’s day.

Whether you know the person or not..Whether they’ve said or done something nasty or not…No matter who that person is or what the current situation is…

PAY THEM A COMPLIMENT

You’ll notice that the mood changes immediately and their face lights up. Not only do you make them feel great, you’ll feel so light and uplifted after you compliment someone.
